In September 2019 it will be 75 years since the battle of Arnhem was fought. This was a turning point for the Netherlands in World War II. As a rapid liberation North of the Rhine was not achieved, the Dutch had to suffer through a hunger winter till the total liberation in May 1945.
After our luncheon we will show a very special feature film to commemorate the battle of Arnhem. "Theirs is the Glory" was filmed in Arnhem in 1946 using surviving military personnel and some local people. Book by Fr 30 August by using our booking page or as per flyer (bookings close on 2 Sept).
